The Gloucester Deaf Association Youth Zone

Instead of sending Christmas cards and gifts in 2011 we chose to donate £500 in order to support a local charity. The Gloucester Deaf Association Youth Zone was selected as it is a charity which is very close to our hearts.
The club is led by a small team of dedicated volunteers and supports hearing impaired young people. They are immensely proud of what the club achieves in fostering friendships between members who otherwise can find themselves very isolated in a hearing world and in mainstream education. The money donated will go directly towards the costs of helping them continue the good work already achieved by Gloucester Deaf Association Youth Zone.

Congratulations to Ruggy from Leicestershire on receiving Novembers Officer of the Month award. Ruggy received the award because of great feedback received from the stores he had been working in. The stores commented that “Ruggy has made a significant difference, since he has started working in our store.”

Ruggy received a £50 Argos voucher and a certificate from Graham Turner, Area Manager.

ACS Audit puts us in top 10% of Security Companies nationwide!

We have fantastic news with regard to our results following our ACS Audit in May 2011. During our two day audit, Customer and Employee Interviews were completed as well as checks against our Standards and Performance levels across our business.

The outcome of the audit resulted in us receiving a fantastic 75 points, which puts us in the top 10% of Security Companies of our size category.

Well done to all the Advantage One Security team for their ongoing commitment and hard work in helping us to achieve these standards.

As mentioned in our previous newsletter to celebrate our 10 year anniversary we are holding a raffle for all of our employees. We issued you with a number of raffle tickets, based on the number of shifts that you usually work in a week. You had one raffle ticket if you usually work one shift a week and two for two shifts etc etc…. up to a maximum of five raffle tickets per person.
